Hello all!
It's been a while since I last blogged, and for that I'm deeply sorry. Between being a full time college student and working it's been hard for me keep up with my blog, but i'm officially back and plan on keeping my blog going for yet another summer!
So to Kick it off I've decided to start with a Donut shop or better yet, a donut bar that's actually out of state! That's right, Las Vegas Donut Bar! For a little over a year now I've followed the Donut Bar page on Instagram and have dreamed of going there and trying one of their donuts. Well last week I finally had the opportunity to do so! I just happened to be in Las Vegas on a family trip on National Donut Day, so if you ask me it was pretty much meant to be. When I walked in the Door of this shop I was immediately obsessed with the environment and decor of it. Everyone there was so upbeat and each employee had a great personality which made the trip even better.
While I was there I got 5 different types of donuts. The Homer Simpson donut (which is the big pink one shown in the picture above), a double chocolate donut, Oreo donut (because who can resist Oreo?), Birthday cake donuts, and lastly an Oreo Birthday cake donut. Out of all of these I only had the pleasure of tasting 3, of which were the Oreo (of course), Birthday cake, and Oreo Birthday cake. Out of all 3 my favorite was probably the Oreo Birthday Cake, this donuts was a birthday cake flavored donut with an Oreo stuffed inside of it. Both of these flavors complimented each other perfectly and made it all around amazing!
I want to apologize for both the lack of and the quality of these pictures, Because I was traveling I didn't have the opportunity to use my real camera for this donut trip so I had to improvise and use my iPhone. Also if you ever find yourself in LA they have another location out there! I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're ever in the area(s)!
